We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently handle phone calls and maintain an organised office environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner
Check in and out guests daily
Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
Responding to guest enquires either face to face or via telephone and email
Handling of reservation enquiries for both spa and the hotel restaurants
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Process payments and maintain guest accounts
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Complete any reasonable task as directed by the Reception Manager.
Attend any compulsory Health Safety and regular training session.
Skills
Previous experience in guest services or a similar role within the hospitality industry
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Previous knowledge of Guestline, Rezlynx and Core is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The successful candidate will work various shifts a week, maximum 4 shifts per week . You will be working shifts including weekends and bank holidays. These will be allocated on a Rota basic shifts are 06:45-14:30 and 14:15-22:00.
