We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. In this front facing role you will ensure a superior level of professionalism in the delivery of customer service to tenants and external clients/visitors to Discovery Park.
You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the professional image and reputation of the company in all contacts with all customers.
You will ensure the parks front of house services reflect that of a world class world leading science park.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to establish excellent relationships with staff and stakeholders, have utmost discretion and confidentiality and be able to demonstrate nothing less than excellence in every aspect of customer care.
Responsibilities
Meeting and greeting all visitors with a warm and professional welcome.
Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service.
Operation of site security system for visitors, staff and contractors.
Ensuring all reception areas are well kept and maintained to a high standard
Maintaining a flexible and professional approach to the delivering of our front of house offering, covering any of Discovery Parks reception desks as may be required and/or supporting other departments.
Taking incoming and transferring telephone calls.
Taking messages and ensuring these are forwarded in a timely manner
Ensuring tenants contact detail and location are up to date, updating relevant databases
To disseminate important information to tenants using the company's CRM system.
Arranging meeting rooms/taxi bookings/hospitality for Discovery Park Management's visitors.
Carryout daily administration as may be required by the business.
Liaising with security regarding visitors to site, access, and parking requirements
Conducting site inductions for contractors
To become fully conversant with all Front of House related systems and equipment, including third party client systems.
Directing tenant queries and maintenance requests via the companies agreed procedures.
Managing the receiving and processing of incoming and outgoing mail, securely and efficiently.
Undertaking duties to support the Park's emergency and security response plans.
You will be willing to undertake training to enable you to act as a First Aider. Fire Marshall and undertake any duties required to ensure the safety and security of the site.
Chauffeuring of tenants and visitors to and from local transfer links and hotels.
Cover FM (Facilities Management) Point. To act as holiday and sickness cover for Site Operations Coordinator covering FM point activities. Activities include but not limited to processing FM requests and queries, creating job tickets, processing order requests and approvals, quoted works processing, job ticket closures, contractor call outs and updates to job ticket logs.

Hold a full current clean driving licence (must be over 21 - insurance requirement).
Main Terms
Salary - 25,396.80 per annum.
Working hours 08:00 - 17:00 (Mon to Fri) - some flexibility may be required to support business.
1 hour unpaid lunch break.
25 days leave plus public/bank holidays.
2 weeks company sick pay, after completion of probation.
