We're looking for a Receptionist to join us at Southend on Sea starting in September 2025.

This position is a 6 month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave with the potential to extend. You'll be working 35 hours per week with 1 in 6 Saturdays (9am-12noon).

What You'll Be Doing

As a Receptionist, you'll play a key role in delivering a seamless and friendly experience for our clients and their pets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Offering exceptional service to clients and ensuring the best care for their pets, acting as the link between clients and our clinical team. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team. Creating a positive and memorable client experience, ensuring every visit exceeds expectations. Welcoming clients, managing payments, and confidently scheduling future bookings. Coordinating the practice's day-to-day routines through our online booking system (computer literacy is essential).

Adaptability to handle a variety of situations, whether comforting a client or celebrating a new puppy's first vet visit.
