Receptionist
Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist to join the team at our 5-star holiday park situated on the beach at Pentewan Sands!
The Reception Team here plays a crucial role as the primary point of contact for our guests. They are responsible for shaping the overall experience from that initial booking, to welcoming our guests for the first day of their holiday in Cornwall and addressing their needs throughout their stay. We're looking for someone who loves working with people and thrives in providing a warm and joyful welcome to everyone who steps through our doors.
The position requires a real people person with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. You'll be working closely with various departments including housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving. We're seeking someone who is motivated and hard-working. You'll enjoy conversing with customers, taking the initiative, thinking on your feet, and you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in using Word, Excel and Outlook is essential and previous experience using a booking system would be advantageous; most importantly you must be polite and personable with a good sense of humour!
Duties will include, but are not exclusive to: -
Giving guests a warm and happy welcome to the Holiday Park Dealing with telephone and email queries in a friendly and helpful manner Handling payments over the phone and in-person Administering bookings online and in-person Liaising with customers during their stay, offering suggestions of places to visit, helping with enquiries, and providing a 5-star customer service - we always go the extra mile!
This is a permanent position commencing in January 2026 offering a minimum of 32 hours per week (including weekends on a rotational basis) and you will be required to work every Saturday during the peak school holidays. Your working days will vary each week and therefore flexibility is required, however we will always do our best to accommodate any specific requests.
