Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receptionist - Temporary- 3 months

Greets visitors - provides assistance, information and directions.

Answers telephone - provides information, transfers calls to proper department or individual. Provides assistance to residents.

Uses intercom to page individuals and make announcements.

Contacts designated individuals during emergency situation as directed by Administration or nursing supervisor.

Prepares correspondence for mailing. Sorts and distributes incoming mail.

Completes clerical and typing assignments.

Job application process - reviews application for completeness; notifies department head of potential candidate for interview

Initiates the recruiting and hiring process for caregivers and non caregivers including processing applications, background screening, testing, interviewing, and reference validation.

Admin:

Maintain current employee files in accordance with policies and procedures.

Records employee information such as personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, maintaining employee training records , evaluations, and termination date and reason.

Running weekly / monthly payroll

Enters, maintains, and corrects employee and payroll data into the computer.

Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.

Understands and adheres to state and federal labor laws as they pertain to home care agencies.

Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations

About you:



Experience in home care or knowledge of the health care industry preferred.

Prior scheduling experience preferred.

Requires proficiency in computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and scheduling program.

Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.

Ability to carry out directions, read and write.

Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills and customer service techniques.

Must perform and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and work well under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:

Barry CF62 8BB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
