What You'll Be Doing
As our Reception Service Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping the practice operating efficiently. No two days will look the same -- in the best possible way.
You'll handle client appointments, phone enquiries, walk-ins, and follow-ups, often managing several needs at once.
You'll support clients with empathy and clear communication, helping them understand services, costs, and care options.
Behind the scenes, you'll assist with finance and admin duties, including patient records, invoicing, billing, paperwork, and liaising with other teams.
Standards of cleanliness and presentation are essential: you'll help keep reception, waiting areas, consult rooms, and shared spaces clean and tidy.
You'll think on your feet, adjust quickly, and support both clients and colleagues during busy periods.
What We're Looking For
Someone who:
Is highly organised, attentive, and able to manage multiple tasks without losing oversight.
Communicates confidently and professionally by phone, in person, and via email -- calm, clear, and courteous.
Stays composed under pressure, working efficiently without letting issues pile up.
Values high standards -- professional appearance, well-kept spaces, and strong attention to detail.
Is proactive, happy to help wherever needed, and enjoys varied day-to-day work.
Has experience in admin or customer service; a veterinary or medical background is an advantage, but not required.
