We are a well-established and growing logistics company looking to engage a
Recruitment / Administration Assistant
to support our recruitment function and wider administrative operations. This is a
hands-on, office- and depot-based role
, ideal for someone confident on the phone, organised, and eager to develop their skills within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting recruitment and administration across the business. This includes acting as the first point of contact for candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring recruitment and compliance paperwork is completed accurately. You will also work closely with depot staff and management to support daily operational needs.
This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, can manage multiple tasks, and is willing to
learn and grow into all aspects of the administration associated with recruitment and logistics operations

Key Responsibilities
Making and receiving
telephone calls
with potential candidates
Carrying out
initial candidate screenings
and arranging interviews
Assisting with and conducting
candidate interviews
where required
Supporting onboarding, compliance checks, and recruitment documentation
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Liaising with drivers, depot teams, and management
Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
Strong
communication and telephone skills
Confidence speaking with candidates in a professional and friendly manner
Comfortable providing services
on-site in both the office and depot environment
Willingness to
learn, develop, and take on additional administrative responsibilities
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Previous experience in recruitment, logistics, or administration is beneficial but not essential
Services Provided
