Overview:
Centum Engineering is hiring a proactive, organised, and computer-literate Internal Recruitment Administrator to support day-to-day recruitment operations. This is a practical, entry-level position ideal for someone looking to begin a career in recruitment. You'll receive full on-the-job training with the opportunity to grow within the company. Construction or trades experience is beneficial but not essential -- we are more interested in your attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative support to the recruitment team, including CV processing, data entry, document collection, and interview scheduling.
Answer incoming calls and emails, ensuring timely and professional communication with candidates and colleagues.
Screen CVs to help identify suitable candidates based on job specifications.
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to track candidates through the recruitment funnel -- from application to onboarding.
Post job advertisements across platforms including job boards, social media (e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp), and internal channels.
Use social media platforms to identify and communicate with potential candidates, helping to build candidate interest and engagement.
Organise candidate leads collected via recruitment forms, social media responses, or walk-in applications.
Maintain a clean and up-to-date system of records to ensure compliance and smooth handover to recruiters.
Act as a local point of contact for candidates, answering basic questions and ensuring required documentation is complete.
Work closely with recruiters to feed real-time candidate availability and progress into team planning meetings.
Support the team with any additional administrative tasks as required -- this is not an exhaustive list.
Requirements:
Fully computer literate - confident using Excel (data entry, filtering, formatting), email, and communication platforms.
Comfortable using social media and messaging tools such as Facebook and WhatsApp to interact with candidates.
Highly organised, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in construction or labour-intensive environments is beneficial but not required.
Must be based locally and available for full-time, on-site work.
Willingness to learn and grow within the business through structured training.
