Qualifications & Training:
Previous experience of working in the social care sector would be an advantage, ideally with Ofsted but not essential. Educated to a Diploma or higher level would be beneficial

Purpose of Role
To support the HR BP and Group HR Director with all stages of the recruitment and selection process across multiple organisations.
This includes:
Supporting the recruitment of vacancies across all relevant job boards and social media platforms
Where required, support the screening and vetting of candidates with the HR BP
Arranging, coordinating and supporting interviews where needed
Onboarding candidates through the safer recruitment process and in line with regulatory guidelines and standards
You will:
Support the HR BP and Group HR Director in delivering the businesses recruitment strategy, in line with budget and hiring deadlines
Ensure that you always follow the Safer Recruitment Policies, Processes and Practices
Support and maintain an up-to-date recruitment pipeline tracker and candidate file, providing daily and weekly updates on candidate pipeline for KPI purposes to the HR BP
Ensure that all recruitment complies with employment legislation and meets the requirements of our regulatory bodies (i.e. CIW, Ofsted, Estyn, DfE, CQC)
Support the HR BP and work alongside the Hiring Manager and our training provider to ensure all new starters are enrolled onto the relevant pre-induction and induction training
To act professionally, ethically and with absolute integrity, and always be the embodiment of equity and fairness
To take ownership for personal development and identify efficient working practices
Ensure thorough checks of new staff files ready for sign off by HR BP / Manager / Responsible Individual i.e. offer letters, confirming full employment history checks, applying for all relevant references, applying for Enhanced DBS, arranging induction training and shadow shifts etc.
Have professional curiosity to challenge and attention to detail when recruiting candidates
Day-to-day duties:
Vacancy tracking and liaising with the HR BP
Support the HR BP in any recruitment related activities
Where required, support the HR BP in advertising vacancies across all relevant job boards and social media platforms
Arranging and supporting Interviews with hiring manager and HR BP
With oversight from the HR BP, complete the full onboarding paperwork, from interview through to start date of all new employees
Support the Group HR Director with any requirements to support in delivering the recruitment strategy

Current or previous experience of recruiting in a fast-paced environment in health and social care. Working with people who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviors. Experience of writing engaging job descriptions.

Knowledge of different job boards to boost engagement. Knowledge of regulatory and / or recruitment guidelines such as Ofsted, CIW, Estyn, DfE, ACAS, KCIES Guidelines.
