DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The In-House Recruitment Team at MJ Quinn plays a vital role in supporting the company's continued growth by attracting, sourcing, and hiring the best talent across all areas of the business. We are a dynamic, fast-paced team committed to delivering an exceptional recruitment experience to candidates and hiring managers alike.
Working in partnership with operational leaders and HR, the recruitment team manages the full hiring lifecycle--from understanding workforce needs and writing engaging job adverts to proactively sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
We recruit across a broad range of roles, including field-based engineering positions, office support, specialist technical roles, and leadership hires. Our team is focused on building robust talent pipelines, reducing time-to-hire, and maintaining high recruitment standards that align with MJ Quinn's values and long-term vision.
JOB OBJECTIVE
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you'll support the Recruitment Manager in delivering a positive candidate experience and ensuring we meet business staffing needs. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of the recruitment cycle.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage PAYE vacancies from advertising through to offer stage
Proactively source candidates and maintain strong talent pipelines
Screen, interview, and select candidates in line with job specifications
Ensure recruitment processes comply with legal and internal requirements
Support with general recruitment administration and ad-hoc tasks
Maintaining strong candidate engagement and delivering a positive experience at every stage of the recruitment journey
PERSON SPECIFICAITON
Experience in recruitment
Confident communicator, both in person and over the phone
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
IT literate and comfortable using recruitment systems and tools
Knowledge of Right to Work checks in the UK is desirable (full training provided)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, approachable, and able to represent the company positively
