ECBS is a B2B energy consultancy based in Hebburn, supporting businesses across the UK to manage energy costs, optimise efficiency, and achieve their sustainability goals. With a decade of experience in the energy sector, our team combines technical expertise with practical advice to deliver solutions tailored to each client's needs.

We're now looking to expand our team and are seeking a dedicated recruiter to help support our ongoing recruitment efforts as we continue to grow as a business.

The Role



As our Internal Recruiter, you will take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle for all hiring across the business. You'll work closely with managers to identify staffing needs, develop role specifications, and create targeted recruitment strategies. You'll build strong candidate pipelines, source talent through multiple channels, and manage all aspects of the hiring process to ensure a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment & Talent Acquisition



Manage end-to-end recruitment across all departments. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create compelling job adverts. Advertise vacancies on job boards, careers pages, and social media channels. Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and targeted outreach. Screen CVs and conduct initial phone interviews. Coordinate and support face-to-face interviews with hiring managers. Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a strong candidate experience. Provide timely updates and feedback throughout the hiring process. Maintain recruitment metrics, reports, and tracking systems. Build and nurture talent pools for future hiring needs. Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and employer brand.

HR Administration



Support the onboarding process for new starters. Prepare and issue offer letters and starter documentation. Assist with maintaining accurate employee records. Provide administrative support to the HR function when required.

You'll be a confident, organised recruiter who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple vacancies, and delivering a professional service.

Requirements



Recruitment experience (internal or agency) is essential. Confident using job boards, LinkedIn, and sourcing tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Positive attitude with a focus on delivering quality hires.

Desirable



Experience recruiting in a high-growth or multi-department environment. Familiarity with basic HR processes (onboarding, paperwork, employee files). Experience building talent pipelines or working with an ATS.
