Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment efficiently and safely within a production environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out repairs as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks in the workplace. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand and operate various types of machinery. Capability for heavy lifting, as the role may require moving materials or equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating good communication skills. Attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
