Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: \xc2\xa343,788.20 per annum (inclusive of call out) plus Company Vehicle, Pension, Health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Location: Southampton

Hours: Monday to Friday- 40 hours per week

Standby: 13 weeks per year

We are advertising this Refrigeration Engineer role on behalf of our client \xe2\x80\x98City Facilities Management\xe2\x80\x99. City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to effectively maintain service and repair refrigeration equipment in customer locations & provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits as well as ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of all actions.

Principal Accountabilities:

• To be aware of regulations and codes of practice applicable to the tasks.
• To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• To notify the company helpdesk of procedural task condition on occasion of works.
• To advise the GSMs of any repair, maintenance and installation issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store and to build rapport and promote the spirit of partnership with all GSM\xe2\x80\x99s.
• To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/national refrigeration manager.
• To comply with health and safety at work act and the company\xe2\x80\x99s health and safety policy.
• To comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the refrigeration supervisor/NRM.

Skills / Background / Qualifications:

• Multiple years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in refrigeration and supermarket experience.
• Flexibility in working hours is essential for this role as well as the ability to be on call 13 weeks per year.
• You must be a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 qualification (Fgas Qualification)
• You should hold a NVQ / C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Must have Co2 experience.
• You must have a full, valid UK driving Licence.

Experience in refrigeration maintenance and repair is essential for this role.

Experience providing assistance with HVAC equipment will be advantageous for this role.
