Regional HR and Recruitment Officer
As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Regional HR and Recruitment Officer to join our team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and reliable HR professional to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company by helping to provide a full range of HR services across SOCOTEC UK. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the HR Team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • To lead the HR and support recruitment functions across multiple Scottish sites.
  • To manage key HR initiatives and business change projects, including TUPE transfers.
  • To deliver an effective recruitment and onboarding strategy aligned with operational needs.
  • To partner with local management in delivering a strong people agenda that supports business growth
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience supporting business growth through M&A or restructuring
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to guide decisions
  • Commercial awareness and ability to align HR strategies with business goals
About Central Services
Based in Burton-on-Trent, SOCOTEC UK's Head Office houses our Central Services Teams. These Teams provide a corporate structure to support the wider business. Central Services is broken down into four main areas: Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and IT. Each of these areas is vital to the day-to-day running of SOCOTEC.
