Job Description

Trade Sales Manager:

At Okarno - subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager working with our customers across trade & decorative centres across the central belt in Scotland, and also some travel to North East England.

You will be responsible for working closely with builders' merchants, buying groups and decorative centres across the region, with the aim of implementing a profitable and targeted sales plan that ensures we are correctly servicing our customers and improving our market share.

This role will require extensive travel across the central belt in Scotland, whilst also including some of the North East of England. As such, successful candidates will need a full UK driving license.

What we're looking for:



Experienced of working within sales, preferably within construction/distribution or other similar industries Strong commercial acumen including negotiation skills Being proactive, being able to spot opportunities and able to fact-find with questions Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities

What you will be doing:



Proactively service and grow opportunities across the client base Involvement in price increase discussions, supporting and negotiating commercial deals and promotional activity Visiting our customer bases regularly, maintain and growing those key relationships Be the focal point between customers and internal stakeholders including customer service, finance and demand planners
