Registered Children's Care Manager
Job Description
Care & Management Services provide residential care, support and services to children and young adults who have emotional, behavioural & mental health needs.
Due to company planned expansion of the registered children's homes in the company, we are looking to recruit Registered Managers.
In order to be eligible to apply you must hold a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ / QCF qualification or an equivalent in one of the recognised children's awards. You must have supervisory experience and be committed to enabling all staff to undertake their responsibilities and duties.
You should also have a minimum of 2 years management experience in a residential child care setting and have knowledge and skills in the areas of leadership and management of a staff team, good communication skills (both written and verbal), budgetary skills and a sound working knowledge of the new Quality Standards and legislation.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be NVQ/QCF Level 3 Qualified To have at least 2 years recent experience working in a children's residential home To understand the needs and support required for dealing with difficult and challenging behaviours. Have supervisory experience
