Registered Fostering Manager / Head of Fostering - Set Up a Brand-New IFA
Location: Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 (flexible)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Our client is offering a rare opportunity for an experienced Registered Fostering Manager to set up and lead a new Independent Fostering Agency from the ground up.
With the office already established, funding secured, and commissioning contacts in place, you'll have everything you need to get started immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire IFA setup process, from Ofsted registration to operational delivery.
• Develop and implement all policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities and commissioners.
• Recruit, lead, and develop your team.
• Ensure all fostering activities meet and exceed regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting up an Independent Fostering Agency (not just senior management).
• In-depth knowledge of fostering regulations and Ofsted standards.
• Strong relationships with local authorities and commissioning teams.
