About the Role
This position arises due to expansion of the company. We are looking for an
experienced and passionate Registered Home Manager
to lead our beautiful 5-bed children's residential home near Baschurch.
This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact; providing high-quality, person-centred care while leading and inspiring a committed team. You'll be responsible for the smooth running of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted/SCIFF regulations and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the residential home in line with Ofsted, SCIFF and company standards
Ensure every young person receives high-quality, individualised care and support
Provide clear leadership, direction, and professional development for the staff team
Maintain effective multi-agency partnerships to achieve the best outcomes
Promote a culture of safeguarding, learning and continuous improvement
About You
We're looking for someone who leads with compassion, professionalism and purpose.
Essential:
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)
or near completion
At least
three years' managerial experience
in children's residential care
Experience supporting young people with
learning disabilities
Proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for young people and liaise effectively with LA stakeholders and Ofsted
Must be someone who has passion and who is always willing to advocate in the best interest of the young people
Strong, confident communication, leadership, influencing and decision-making skills
