About The Role





The

Registered Manager

is responsible for setting the culture of the service and ensuring that everyone within it lives and breathes our organisational values in line with the company ethos. Also to take responsibility for all aspects of the management of your service in line with the expectation of the organisation, regulators such as CQC/CSSIW/CI and the local commissioning bodies. To take accountability for the registration of the service with appropriate regulated body

Working hours:

40 hours a week, may be required to undertake out of normal business hours audit sand checks in line with CQC Registration. May be required to cover out of hours shifts responding to the needs of the service.

About you





We are looking for people who share our core values and are able to apply these to the work that they do.



You will have at least 3 years' experience in a senior care management role at Registered Manager or similar level. The successful applicant will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care, having or willing to work towards NVQ Level 4. Having excellent interpersonal skills is necessary and the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for a large multi-disciplinary staff team. In addition, you will need to be able to evidence that you can provide inspiring, motivational, clear, and supportive leadership

About The Service




The Dispensary - Swanton Care is a stunning care home situated in a quaint picturesque village close to Durham city. We are a new service, recently opening in May 2023 where we offer superbly adapted apartment style living to 5 people who require specialist care and support who live with complex needs including Autism, Learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
