Job Title:

Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (2 Bed)


Location:

Barnsley


Salary:

46,000 per annum, with potential to earn up to 51,400 through Ofsted and occupancy bonuses


Working Hours:

Full-time, 39 hours per week


Hourly Rate:

Equivalent to 22.66 per hour (based on base salary)


Number of Sleeps Required:

Ad hoc as required to support home functioning


Pay Per Sleep:

25 per weekday / 35 per weekend

Young People with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Trauma, Neglect, CSE, CCE


Qualifications Required:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards


Experience in Years Required:

Proven leadership experience within a Children's Residential setting

You must be passionate about delivering trauma-informed care and building a culture of high expectations, warmth, and accountability. The right candidate will be flexible, committed, and experienced in leading a home to deliver excellent outcomes for children and young people.


You must have:



A strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding and relevant legislation Experience managing and developing residential care teams A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete) A current UK driving licence and access to a car Ability to oversee rotas, budgets, audits, and staffing requirements Experience working with external stakeholders including Ofsted, commissioners and therapy teams
