At Green Tree Children's Home, we're offering a rare and rewarding opportunity for a passionate, experienced leader to take charge of our 4-bed Ofsted-registered home in Erith, Kent. We support young people aged 8 to 18 who have experienced trauma, disrupted care, or neglect. As our Registered Manager, you'll be at the heart of creating a nurturing, therapeutic space where healing and growth are not just encouraged -- they are expected.

Your Role
As Registered Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a safe and supportive environment where young people can thrive. Key responsibilities include:
Leading day-to-day operations and ensuring full compliance with Ofsted standards
Inspiring, supporting, and managing a dedicated, high-performing care team
Overseeing personalised care plans, behavioural support strategies, and risk assessments
Embedding a therapeutic, trauma-informed, child-centred culture across the home
Building collaborative relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Championing quality, performance, and continuous improvement to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings
About You
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work toward it)
Experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-regulated setting
Strong track record of positive inspection outcomes
Deep knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care
Exceptional leadership, emotional intelligence, and sound decision-making skills
A heartfelt commitment to putting children's needs and wellbeing above all else
