- Provide effective leadership and management of the Respite Children's Home
- Ensure compliance with Statement of Purpose and regulatory requirements
- Meet fit persons requirements as a Registered Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to staff
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Ensure delivery of high-quality care and support to children and young people
- Manage resources, including staffing, finances, and premises
- Develop and implement performance management framework
- Promote continuous improvement and share best practices
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services
- Significant experience in residential child care management
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Registration and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016
- Excellent leadership, communication, and IT skills
Special Conditions:
- Mileage paid in accordance with HMRC rates
- Some out-of-hours working required
- On-call duty rota for children's homes
- Full valid driving licence and sole use of vehicle required
