Responsibilities:
In charge of overseeing and directing the direct development of services, encompassing staff line management at Cedar Path Care.
As the Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that everyday operations operate smoothly and that every young person has the opportunity to flourish, with the help of the Responsible Individual. It is crucial to have the capacity to motivate and guide a knowledgeable and helpful group of people in creating a welcoming, secure, and encouraging environment. In this varied role, you will take up operational responsibility for all safeguarding-related issues. In addition, you'll be in charge of providing guidance, oversight, and training to help the house grow.
Essential Requirement:
For this position, prior experience working in an Ofsted-regulated residential children's home is required.
Enhanced DBS
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce/Level 3 Residential Childcare
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Young People's Services, or working toward it, in the residential management within a residential childcare service , or working toward it, in the residential pathway for children and young people.
Experience working as a registered manager in a children's residential home or 2 years experience in a supervisory position.
A valid driving license in the UK.
Working hours:
40 hours a week are dedicated to work. Although the service is usually provided around the clock, the manager could occasionally be required to work after hours.
28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.

Possess a deep comprehension of risk assessment, protection, and informed decision making, all of which help us achieve the goals we have for our children.
A solid grasp of industry standards and regulations, such as those set forth by Ofsted, the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF), the Working Together to Safeguard Children statutory guidance, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 (CHR2015), and any other applicable laws or guidelines.
Possess the ability to create positive connections with a variety of multi-agency organisations, such as Social Services, the NHS, the police, and the education system, in order to produce the best results for our young people.
Possess a track record of overseeing children's homes with an Ofsted rating of "Good" or "Outstanding." We would love to speak with you if you are a deputy manager who is prepared to advance in your career.
Have a strong sense of self-motivation, empathy, and enthusiasm for attaining excellent results for young people.
