We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Children's Home Registered Manager to join our exciting new setting in
Manchester, M14.
This role will be best suited to an experienced Registered Manager who enjoys mentoring others and takes a considerate and progressive approach to leadership. You will be able to create a family environment for young people in line with our ethos, which encourages development through a warm and nurturing approach.
We are looking for someone who has an established track record of running homes and will be required to oversee all aspects of the running the home.
You will promote the development of a high-quality, stimulating, and educationally rich environment in which children and young people can thrive. To be responsible for the management and operational delivery of the home and to oversee the implementation of standards as required by Ofsted.
This role will be best suited to an experienced Registered Manager who enjoys mentoring others and takes a considerate and progressive approach to leadership.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:
To ensure that the home provision meets with required inspection standards under OFSTED and is delivered in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations
To ensure positive outcomes are achieved through the delivery of high-quality support.
To manage and co-ordinate the operational needs for the home.
To be responsible for ensuring health and safety guidance, policies and procedures are always followed by all staff.
To ensure that all children and young people are suitably included and consulted in all aspects of their daily living activities.
To facilitate a safe, homely, welcoming environment for children and young people and to immediately address any concerns that may be detrimental to this.
To work in close liaison with the other residential managers to ensure continuity, and to promote supportive teamwork.
To be responsible for monitoring the health needs of children and young people.
About You as our Manager:
The ideal candidate will require:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake training to achieve this
Willing to register as a manager with Ofsted
Two years' experience, within the past five years, working in children's residential care
Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional knowledge of safer recruitment practices
Proficient IT skills and experience in using Microsoft packages
A full, valid UK driver's license
Proficient numeracy/literary skills equivalent to GCSE or above in English and Math
Have 2/3 excellent recent employment references and a clear DBS check
