At Lily Residential Services, we specialise in providing consistent, therapeutic care to young individuals in need of structure and emotional support. We are currently looking for an experienced leader to oversee the operations of one of our specialist care settings in Weymouth.
What the Role Involves
As the senior person responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, you'll lead on quality care delivery, regulatory compliance, and staff development, creating a nurturing and high-performing environment.
Main Duties Include:
Leading and guiding a committed staff team
Ensuring the provision of safe, structured care tailored to each young person's needs
Managing safeguarding practices, risks, and individual care plans
Meeting all standards outlined in current care regulations
Cultivating a supportive, home-like setting for residents
Collaborating effectively with professionals, families, and external services
Pushing for continuous improvement and development across the home
Essential Requirements:
Level 5 qualification in residential childcare leadership (or similar)
Minimum 3 years in a senior role within youth-focused care environments
Proven record of successful inspections from relevant regulatory bodies
Solid knowledge of safeguarding and residential care frameworks
Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills
Full UK driver's licence and own transport
Must have the right to work in the UK and provide 5 years of employment history
Flexibility to occasionally work weekends, stay overnight, or respond to emergencies
