We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate
Registered Manager
to lead our children's residential care home. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who has a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the team, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance.
Oversee the daily running of the home in line with Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home meets or exceeds "Good" and "Outstanding" inspection ratings.
Support, mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
Promote a child-centred culture where young people feel safe, valued, and supported to achieve positive outcomes.
Ensure policies, procedures, and care plans are up to date and consistently followed.
Build effective relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and external professionals.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Registered Manager
(or Deputy Manager ready to step up) within children's residential services.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's home legislation.
Evidence of
achievements
in driving quality, compliance, and positive outcomes for children.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated staff team.
