What You'll Be Doing
Establish the home's operational structure, vision, and values from the ground up.
Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care in line with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a dedicated staff team to provide consistent, child-centred support.
Champion the voices and needs of young people, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and heard.
Build positive relationships with families, schools, social workers, and external professionals.
Lead on safeguarding, compliance, and continuous service improvement.
Represent the home as a visible and trusted leader within the community and sector.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience as a
Registered Manager
in a children's residential care setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding practice, and sector legislation.
Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to build and sustain high-performing teams.
A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people with complex needs.
Resilience, empathy, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
