We're seeking a confident Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a Registered Manager role

About the Role



A new 4-bed home supporting young people with

emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)

is seeking a passionate and driven

Registered Manager

to take the reins and lead the service through registration and into successful operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager or acting Registered Manager with experience in EBD settings to

step up

into full leadership of a home. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the service, recruiting a new team, and embedding a culture of safety, growth, and trauma-informed care from day one.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the home through

Ofsted registration

and build a service aligned with the Quality Standards. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of a new care team. Ensure young people receive high-quality, individualised, and consistent care and support. Maintain full compliance with legislation, safeguarding standards, and regulatory frameworks. Embed therapeutic approaches and a nurturing environment tailored to EBD needs. Foster strong relationships with external professionals, families, and local authorities. Participate in on-call responsibilities as part of the Registered Manager role.

Candidate Requirements



Essential:



Level 5 Diploma

in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.

Level 3 Diploma

in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Experience as a Deputy Manager or acting Registered Manager in an EBD setting. Strong understanding of Ofsted registration processes and Children's Homes Regulations. A confident leader who can establish a new home culture, systems, and team. Female candidates encouraged (for team balance). Must have the right to work in the UK (No BRP sponsorship available).

Driving Licence preferred

Desirable:



Familiarity with therapeutic models such as PACE, restorative practices, or trauma-informed care. Experience working in newly registered or startup residential settings.
