children's residential home

is seeking a committed and ambitious

Deputy Manager ready to step up

into a Registered Manager position.

The home provides care and support for up to 3 young people with

Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

, in a safe and nurturing environment where staff are supported to deliver high standards of care. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new service from the ground up and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards. Provide strong leadership to staff, mentoring and developing your team. Create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for young people. Ensure effective safeguarding and risk management procedures are always followed. Manage budgets, rotas, and administrative duties. Work closely with senior leadership to establish the home as a centre of excellence.

Requirements

- Minimum

2 years' experience

in children's residential care at Senior, Deputy, or Team Leader level.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
- Ambition and capability to step into a

Registered Manager

role.
