Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Registered Manager

to lead a team of care workers and manage our Ofsted-regulated Children's home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations and effective leadership of the team. This role requires strong organisational, leadership and communication skills along with a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

Duties

Oversee the day-to-day running of the home to ensure high-quality care and support Lead, motivate and develop staff to deliver person-centred support Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, company policies and relevant legislation Conduct regular audits, supervision and quality checks to maintain high standards Manage recruitment, training and performance of staff Develop and maintain positive relationships with professionals, local authorities and families Ensure all care plans, risk assessments and records are accurate and up to date Promote a culture that supports independence, safety and emotional well-being for young people

Experience

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's Home with minimum of 2 years' experience. Outstading knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's care standards. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to manage safeguarding effectively and respond to incidents appropriately Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it) A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel between services as required
