We are looking for a committed and driven

Registered Manager

to lead a brand-new 3 Bed children's residential home in Wandsworth, supporting young people aged 8-16 with

Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

.

This role is ideal for an

experienced Registered Manager

seeking a fresh challenge, or a highly skilled

Deputy Manager with 5+ years of experience

looking for a step-up into their first Registered Manager role. You'll be instrumental in shaping the culture, standards, and success of the home from its very first day.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the opening and ongoing management of a new 4-bed EBD home. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and achieve positive inspection outcomes. Provide strong leadership, support and supervision to the care team. Manage budgets, staffing, rotas, and operational systems. Drive a child-centred, therapeutic approach, ensuring young people are safe, supported, and empowered. Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies. Take overall responsibility for safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential home
OR

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Deputy Manager in children's residential care, ready to step up. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Ofsted regulations, and best practice. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Desirable:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete). Experience in setting up or registering a new children's home. Full UK Driving Licence.
