Registered Manager - Children's Residential Service

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-regulated children's residential service in Derby. Role Overview

As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance. You will lead a dedicated team, foster a child-centred culture, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the residential home in line with Ofsted regulations and Children's Home Standards Ensure the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child are met Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting a positive and resilient team culture Maintain robust safeguarding practices and respond appropriately to incidents Build effective relationships with external agencies, families, and professionals Monitor performance, manage budgets, and ensure legal and policy compliance

Candidate Profile

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role within a children's residential setting Proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and regulatory frameworks Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to inspire and support staff to deliver outstanding care

Pay: 50,000.00-70,000.00 per year
