Registered Manager | Residential Care | Full Time
Location: Hampshire Area
Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 Inc Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week
We're exclusively supporting a well-regarded care provider in recruiting a new Registered Manager for one of their residential elderly care services in Hampshire.
This is a planned leadership transition; the current manager is stepping aside, and the service is ready for someone to step in and shape its next phase. It's not a turnaround. There are no compliance issues or firefighting. The home is already stable with long-standing staff, consistent occupancy, and strong systems.
But it now needs a visible, values-led leader who can provide clarity and direction and drive standards forward.
If you've been carrying the weight of a service as a Deputy with no clear path to step up, or you're already an RM feeling boxed in and under pressure, you'll find the difference here.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day running of the service with full autonomy
Support, coach, and develop a loyal, settled team
Oversee audits, quality assurance, and all CQC compliance activity
Manage rotas, care planning, staffing, and budget oversight
Build trusted relationships with families, staff, and external professionals
Create a calm, consistent, and resident-focused care culture
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Registered Manager OR Deputy with senior leadership exposure
Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks, safeguarding, and governance
A calm, visible leadership style with high emotional intelligence
Ability to bring structure and confidence to both people and process
What's on offer:
60,000 - 75,000 salary depending on experience
Bonus linked to quality and service outcomes
Supportive senior leadership and a responsive operational structure
A well-resourced, well-staffed home that's ready to grow
Genuine autonomy to shape the service your way
