This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to manage our Extra Care Unit in Hailsham, Bentley Grange.
The role of the Registered Manager plays a vital part ensuring that our clients receive the highest level and quality of care and will make a real difference for the people we work with. Key Responsibilities:
To take responsibility for day-to-day running supported by senior management
To effectively manage a team of staff
To ensure the most efficient and cost-effective use of available carers to deliver the best possible service to our clients
To ensure that full risk assessments are undertaken within service users' homes with regard to health and safety and infection control issues and ensure that all staff are provided with advice regarding safe and healthy working practices in the field.
To ensure that there is sufficient recruitment, appointment, and deployment of staff and to ensure that effective induction, supervision, and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
Out of office hours, the Registered Manager will take part in an On-Call duty rota to deal with any problems which cannot wait until the next working day.
To investigate complaints, take appropriate action and report to the person-in-control and/or the CQC as appropriate.
To liaise with and co-operate with CQC/ESCC inspectors and inspections.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30 am -5.00 pm, with evening and weekend on call duties.
