Salary:



Earnings -

50,000 - 55,000 per Annum, up to 60,000 with Bonuses

.

Salary Depending on Experience (sliding scale) - 50,000 (1st time post) to 55,000 (Registered Manager experience (Ofsted) plus Bonuses on top.

Hours

:

40 hours per week

. Generally, office hours; however, the service is 24/7/365 and there may be times when the manager is expected to work outside of office hours.

Annual leave:



38 days per year

(inclusive of bank holidays)

PLUS:

1 extra day AL for your BIRTHDAY !!



2 extra days AL for Christmas Eve and New years Eve



Total of 8 weeks / 41 days Annual Leave per year.



Essential Criteria:



- QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare / Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services in the children and young people's residential management pathway (either obtained or currently / willing to work towards)

- Experience at Registered Manager / Deputy Manager level specifically within a residential home for children

Experience of working within Ofsted Regulated Residential Children's Home's is essential for this post.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children's home, but if you're a Deputy Manager who's ready to take a step up, we'd love to hear from you! You will need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, or at least be working towards this qualification. Enthusiastic, resilient, and good with people, you will have the autonomy to make key decisions. You will be able to inspire and develop exceptional teams and the leaders of tomorrow.

A full UK driving license is desirable for this role.

As a Registered Manager you will have the following:



- The skills and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire your staff team, and children in your care.

- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, in addition to working closely alongside other external professionals.

- The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally.

- The skills required to lead and supervise your colleagues.

- The confidence to make good decisions, based upon risk assessment and the needs of the children and your colleagues.

- A sound and in depth of industry regulations and standards, including Ofsted, the SCCIF, CHR2015, Working Together to Safeguard 2023 etc.

- The skills to work collaboratively with various multi agencies, such as Social Services, the NHS, specialist health services etc. in order to collaboratively create the best outcomes for our children.
