We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and driven

Registered Manager

to lead our brand-new 2-bed children's home in Bolton. This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing, child-focused environment from the ground up. You'll champion the highest standards of therapeutic care, ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations, and lead a compassionate, high-performing team dedicated to making a real difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the registration of the home with Ofsted, ensuring full regulatory compliance. Provide high-quality, child-centred care in line with therapeutic parenting models and the home's ethos. Oversee daily operations, including safeguarding, care planning, staffing, and health & safety. Recruit, train, and develop staff in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines. Create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children can thrive and build positive, lasting memories. Manage budgets and ensure effective financial oversight. Build strong working relationships with external professionals and agencies. Ensure continuous improvement through reflective practice and high standards.

Qualifications



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Experience in opening or registering a new home. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a residential childcare setting. Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. Proven leadership and team management experience.

Sound understanding of safeguarding, child development, and risk management. Resilient, compassionate, and highly committed to child-centred care. Ability to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours. Full UK driving licence and good physical and mental health.
