About Us:



Anchor Care Group is a newly established children's residential care provider with ambitious plans to become a leader in the sector. While this will be our first children's home, our leadership team brings extensive experience from the wider care sector, including supporting individuals aged 18 to 65 with complex and distressed behaviours. We currently operate care homes across the country and consider it a privilege to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.

The Role:



As the Registered Manager, you will lead our modern and spacious 5-bedroom home in central Walsall, dedicated to supporting three children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will have the opportunity to shape the home's culture, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations while fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the home in providing high-quality care and support for up to three children with emotional, social & other associated difficulties. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain the highest standards of care. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment alongside our Responsible Individual (RI). Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and professional culture alongside the directors and RI. Work closely with directors and RI to align the home's operations with the overall vision and standards. Engage with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to promote the best outcomes for the children.

Qualifications:



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for childrens residential care (not adults) Proven experience in residential childcare management, with a preference for candidates who have experience in opening new homes.
