Registered Manager
to lead one of our residential children's homes.
What You'll Be Doing:
As our Registered Manager, you'll take the lead in the day-to-day running of the home. From supporting and developing staff to ensuring we meet the highest standards of care (and aiming for that top Ofsted rating!), you'll be central to creating a nurturing, positive atmosphere where both staff and young people can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a dedicated care team with empathy and professionalism.
Ensuring each child receives the individualised care they deserve.
Maintaining compliance with Children's Home Regulations and all relevant standards.
Working closely with families, professionals, and external partners.
Handling referrals, assessments, and care planning.
Managing budgets, records, safeguarding, and more.
What We're Looking For:
Over 3 years' experience
in residential children's care, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
A minimum
Level 3 qualification
in residential childcare or social care - must be working towards Level 5 Diploma
A genuine passion for supporting young people.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A proactive, flexible, and caring approach.
Eligibility to meet Schedule 2 of Children's Home Regulations 2015.
DBS clearance via the Update Service (or willing to obtain).
