Salary: 33,000 (Pre-registration) rising to 50,000 (Post-registration)

We are an expanding Care Provider operating supported accommodation homes across the Northwest. As we prepare to launch our new 2-bed Ofsted-registered EBD children's home in Huddersfield, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager position post-registration.
Role Overview
Pre-Registration Phase (Service Manager Duties)
Base Location
: Salford
Hours
: 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 6.30pm)
You will:
Operate as Service Manager across our 5 supported accommodation homes.
Work closely with the Responsible Individual and team leads to ensure day-to-day operational oversight.
Lead and support staff to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.
Ensure quality assurance systems are in place and align with Ofsted expectations.
Attend multi-agency meetings, contribute to placement planning, and support with regulatory readiness.
: 40 hours per week (flexible rota including weekends/evenings as required)
Upon successful Ofsted registration:
You will take on full responsibility for the operational running of the 2-bed EBD children's home.
Manage a team of residential care staff, ensuring consistent, safe, therapeutic, and child-centred care.
Lead on care planning, safeguarding, team development, supervision, rota management, and staff recruitment.
Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted frameworks.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and trauma-informed care.
