Green Tree Children's Home in Erith, Kent is seeking an experienced, confident, and compassionate
Registered Manager
to lead our newly opened 4-bed Ofsted-registered residential service. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to shape a home from the ground up--bringing your expertise, leadership, and vision into every element of its culture and care.
A New Beginning, Backed by Experience
Green Tree is the first children's home established by the sister company of a well-respected, long-standing semi-independent care provider. With the support of an experienced leadership team deeply rooted in health and social care, this new venture is built on a child-first, values-driven foundation with a clear focus on quality, ethics, and sustainable outcomes.
Autonomy and Support, Balanced for Success
We know that strong leaders thrive when trusted to lead. At Green Tree, you'll have the freedom to run the home based on your own professional judgement and best practices--without unnecessary interference. At the same time, our senior leadership team is hands-on, collaborative, and fully invested in your success, ensuring you're never without the support you need.

Who We're Looking For
You're a compassionate and resilient leader with a strong background in children's residential care. You bring a balance of clear professional standards, emotional intelligence, and a deep-rooted commitment to creating positive, lasting change. You're ready to take full ownership of a new home and create a space where both children and staff feel safe, supported, and empowered.
You'll bring:
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or be working towards it)
Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy within an Ofsted-regulated service
A strong record of delivering high-quality care and positive inspection outcomes
In-depth safeguarding knowledge and experience with trauma-informed approaches
