As we prepare to launch a brand-new residential children's home in Cheddleton, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead this exciting venture. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a service from the ground up--with full autonomy and support.

Your Role



As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and regulatory compliance of the home, ensuring we deliver outstanding care tailored to each child's unique needs. You will lead by example, instilling a culture of safeguarding, development, and positivity across the team.

Key Responsibilities



Launch and manage the daily operations of the new home Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards Create a safe, structured, and enriching environment for children and staff Recruit, lead, mentor, and support a high-performing care team Build and maintain positive relationships with families and professionals Oversee and maintain all required records and documentation Champion a child-centred approach and uphold the home's values

What We're Looking For



Minimum 2 years' recent experience in residential childcare (in an Ofsted-registered setting) At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare Full UK Driving Licence Strong knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory frameworks Compassionate, resilient, and committed to making a difference
