2. Supervisory responsibilities/position in structure



Responsible to: Managing Director or Franchise owner

Responsible for:

Providing a high-quality home care service that empowers clients to live in their own homes for as long as possible. Making Apollo Care the most desired care provider in the UK.

3. Terms of Employment



Hours: 30hrs

Experience: Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or working towards

Other: Experience in a social care setting within a manager's role

4. Main functions of job



(note: in addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably be required)

Efficiently manage the day to day running of the business through sound leadership and full compliance to CQC standards. Managing all aspects of the staff team, ensuring staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities. Supporting the staff so that they feel valued and will keep themselves and our clients safe.

Ability to support clients with all aspects of their daily living in a manner that respects their dignity, promoting their independence, choices and privacy. Empowering clients to try new things.

Must have Diploma level 5 or equivalent or will be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification

Desirable



Experience of financial management

Experience of managing the delivery of social care services within a manger's role

Knowledge of business management and business start-up.

Full driving license with business insurance

Duties:



Carry out regular audits

KPI - collate and report

Reports to director as required

Complete Franchise Territory visits

Safeguarding lead role

Complaints handling

Keep internal systems updated

Oversee finance

Complete staff appraisals and oversee supervisions

Recruitment

Quality assurance

Health and Safety

6. Health & Safety



As an employee of Apollo Care you have a responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work act 1974 to: -

Take reasonable care of yourself and others at work

Co-operate with Apollo Care to ensure that the laws relating to health and safety are not broken

Report any problems or concerns about Health and Safety to the Care Manager
