About the Role:
As our
Registered Manager
, you will:
Be the
Ofsted Registered Person
for two homes, ensuring full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (2015)
Lead with purpose - motivating, developing, and supporting a team to provide therapeutic, child-centred care
Champion safeguarding and act as the
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Embed
positive behaviour support
and trauma-informed approaches
Work closely with external professionals, families, and internal teams to support each young person's journey
Monitor outcomes in health, education, and emotional well-being - making a lasting difference, every day
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within 12 months)* Minimum
2 years' experience in a children's residential setting
At least
1 year as an Ofsted Registered Manager
Strong understanding of
Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding
, and inspection frameworks
Leadership with emotional intelligence, resilience, and compassion
UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable:
Familiarity with care systems (e.g., Nourish)
Experience with trauma-informed practice and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support)
Calm, solution-focused mindset under pressure
