Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our 41 bed registered care home. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading and managing care homes, leadership skills and strong commitment to delivering person-centered care to the residents. The role requires extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, including CQC standards, Safeguarding and health & safety legislation. The registered Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of care service, including staff leadership, Recruitment, training, continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery.

Duties



Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care. Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high standards of care. Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction, making adjustments to care plans as necessary. Maintain accurate records related to resident care and staff performance, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care, dementia care, and other relevant areas.

Experience



Proven experience in a managerial role within an assisted living or residential care setting. Demonstrated ability in developing care plans that cater to individual resident needs. Experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively is crucial for success in this role. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others while maintaining high standards of service delivery. Familiarity with medication administration protocols within a residential care environment is required.
