Registered Manager

to lead this exciting new service. This role offers full autonomy, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to shape a nurturing, supportive setting from day one.

About the Role



As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of a new children's residential home supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. You will play a key role in ensuring that the home meets all regulatory requirements, while also creating an environment where children and staff feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.

Key Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of the children's home in line with Ofsted regulations and company policies. Create a warm, family-like atmosphere that prioritises the well-being and development of young residents. Lead, supervise, and support staff to deliver high standards of care and professional practice. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders. Promote opportunities for education, personal development, and positive outcomes for children. Implement safeguarding best practices and ensure a safe, secure environment for all. Monitor performance, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement across the service.

Requirements



Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a children's residential care setting (in an Ofsted-registered service). At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role within social care. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) - essential. NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare - essential. Full UK Driving Licence - required. In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Passion for working with young people and commitment to promoting positive life outcomes.
