We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to join a Charity that prevents homelessness and tackles poverty and social exclusion in Swansea. This will suit you if you have experience in housing support and an understanding of mental health.

The company in question is going from strength to strength and for the past 40 years, have covered 4 local authority areas and provided a vital service to the local community, improving the lives of people who are threatened with or experience homelessness, a housing crisis, or are experiencing mental health issues/ trauma.

As Registered Manager you will:

- Use your understanding of regulations within the Care Inspectorate Wales to full advantage

- Ideally possess a level 4 qualification in health and social care or level 3 and be prepared to work towards a level 4/5 management qualification.

- Lead a team of support workers in a 24-hour mental health accommodation establishment

- Ensure tenants receive the highest standards of support and client records are up to date and in line with quality benchmarks

- Manage rota/operational priorities with effective supervision/management.

- Act as \'the competent person\' with regard to all aspects of medication, from policy, employee competency and risk management.

- Oversee and regularly competency check employees as part of Social Care Wales registration of domiciliary workers.

- Complete all internal and external reporting and monitoring processes, including monitoring action plans in readiness for review at the 3-month RI visit.

- Ensure all legal, contractual, financial & quality obligations, legislation, public policy and good practice measures are monitored following organisational processes.

- Ensure that Safeguarding guidelines and organisational policy are strictly adhered to by all employees, clients, and visitors.
