About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Residential Home providing care for young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and social needs. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements, and providing leadership to the care team.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. Create and maintain a positive, child-centred culture where children's voices are heard and respected. Ensure the home is a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all residents. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, incident reporting, and placement reviews. Build strong relationships with children, their families, social workers, external agencies, and other professionals. Lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes to ensure continuous improvement. Manage the home's budget, staffing rotas, recruitment, training, and performance management.
Requirements

NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). Minimum 2 years' experience managing or supervising in a children's residential setting. Proven leadership and staff management skills. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable:

Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), trauma, or SEN. Full UK driving licence.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
