Langham Court requires a Night RGN on

Tuesday Nights 8pm-8am

23.00-27.60 per hour plus bank holiday and Christmas enhancements

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Surrey Hills, The Huntington & Langham Estate have an exciting opportunity available for a Night RGN/RMN. We are looking for a naturally friendly, caring person with a genuine interest in supporting/assisting our dementia residents. You will oversee and maintain the care of our residents and in the absence of the Home Manager, take responsibility for the day to day management of the home.

Main responsibilities

support staff to work to the best of their ability and create a good atmosphere promote positivity assess care needs ensure care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents (where possible), relative and other healthcare professionals monitor ill health and liaise with GP or healthcare professionals where needed assess social and health needs of new residents maintain accurate records and ensure individual needs are assessed and regularly reviewed administration of medication undertake residents personal care where required liaise with residents family members assist the Home Manager with audits communicate the status of residents health to the Home Manager establish a good relationship with the GP and outside Health Professionals Participate in staff/resident meetings Provide concise handovers to the next shift Adhere to appropriate NMC, CQC and GSCC guidelines/regulations ensure confidentiality is maintained where necessary

Required:

Experience for relevant Client group NMC registered level one or two Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Satisfactory Police Check and check against the DBS List Team player staff management skills
