We are seeking a qualified Veterinary nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at our small animal RCVS accredited practice.


We have just opened an exciting new hospital site in Castle view shopping centre alongside our town centre branch on Market Street. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to contribute to this exciting stage of growth. Do you want to be part of our next big adventure?

About us:

Caerphilly Veterinary Clinic is a busy and thriving practice with an interesting and varied caseload, no two days are the same!


We are set in a beautiful location, opposite Caerphilly Castle with a busy shopping area surrounding us and in the last few weeks we have just opened our exciting state of the art practice in the Castle View shopping centre. We are close to Cardiff, with South Wales amazing hills and coasts on our doorstep. Ideal if you want to get out and explore.


We pride ourselves on our clinical standards and patient care. We are also a Gold Standard Cat Friendly and Dogs Trust accredited Dog friendly Practice. We are currently a five vet team with a range of experience and expertise who are supported by an experienced and enthusiastic nursing team of 7 RVNs. Our emphasis is on client care and case continuity to build a valued rapport with our patients and their owners. Our nurses are key to supporting our vets with a wide range of nurse clinics and a busy theatre. Our nurses are also keen to support with SVN training and the many vet students who spend time with us. We pride ourselves on a supportive learning environment alongside a friendly team who value teamwork and client/ patient care.


We offer dedicated cat spaces in both sites with ISFM gold accreditation and a good range of clinical equipment including x-ray, dental x-ray, dental suite, ultrasound, lab etc.

The role:

Full-time is a 37.5 hour 4-day week, but we are very flexible and are happy to offer part-time working for the right candidate No on call and no weekend rota Competitive salary - 29,000 - 33,000 (pro rata) depending on experience, based on 37.5 hrs/week
