We're looking for a confident, capable Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong skills and experience to join our friendly and inclusive, RCVS accredited small animal practice in Battersea.


You'll be part of a supportive nurse team, working alongside two RVNs, an SVN, and a VCA, delivering high-quality care to our patients.


We are part of a wonderful community, just off the vibrant Northcote Road, where we have been providing care to our client's pets for well over thirty years. We have a lovely client base and pride ourselves on providing a professional, friendly and humane service.

The Role:

Full-time - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am-1pm) for which you'll receive a weekday off when worked Shifts on a rota basis ranging from 8.30am - 4.30pm or 11am - 7pm No OOH

Salary up to 32,000 per annum dependent on experience

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring patients prior and post surgery, under anaesthetics and sedation Administering drugs and injections Preparing animals for surgery Restraining and handling patients, focusing on patient wellbeing Cleaning kennels, post surgeries and at the end of the day Cleaning, maintaining and sterilising surgical instruments and equipment Performing diagnostic tests, both manual and with our in house Idexx lab Assisting in taking x-rays Admitting and discharging patients Performing Nurse consults and providing advice to clients Ensuring we continue to provide the best possible care to our patients and clients Friendly and open to help with the growth of our Student Nurse and VCA Helping out with answering the phone in our busy practice Able to work independently and alongside others
